Role -Lead Mainframe Developer Location: Remote Job Type: W2 Contract

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced

Lead Mainframe Developer

with strong expertise in

Mainframe technologies

and hands-on experience in

Membership and Billing systems , preferably within the

health insurance domain . The candidate will work closely with clients and vendors, understand business requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide effective solutions.

Must-Have Skills 8+ years of experience in

Mainframe Development . Strong hands-on experience with

COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 . Strong experience working with

Membership and Billing systems . Experience in the

Health Insurance / Insurance domain

is highly preferred. Ability to understand and address

Membership and Billing-related business questions . Strong understanding of Mainframe applications, development, debugging, and production support. Experience working with

vendors and external stakeholders . Excellent

verbal and written communication skills . Ability to validate technical information, ask the right questions, and coordinate effectively with vendors and clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and support Mainframe application development and maintenance activities. Work on applications related to

Membership and Billing . Analyze client requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve Mainframe application issues. Collaborate with clients, vendors, business teams, and technical teams. Validate vendor-provided information and ensure technical requirements are properly addressed. Participate in requirement discussions, technical reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
