Salary: $162,000 - 215,000 per year Requirements:

• We need strong experience building and operating production AI systems, including LLM-based workflows.
• We need a solid grasp of modern AI methods such as prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• We need proven experience designing and delivering shared platforms or services at scale.
• We need deep technical fluency in Java and Python, with hands-on experience building scalable, production-grade AI and platform services.
• We need experience designing APIs and running services in a cloud environment.
• We need experience working with distributed cloud environments.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• We design scalable AI architectures using LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, and model optimization techniques.
• We establish evaluation frameworks to assess model quality, hallucination control, and precision/recall trade-offs.
• We lead the design and implementation of scalable AI platform capabilities used across the software development lifecycle.
• We partner with product and security teams to ensure AI solutions are safe, compliant, and production-ready.
• We drive delivery through ambiguity by turning complex problems into clear plans and milestones.
• We lead buy-versus-build decisions, evaluating third-party solutions alongside internal capabilities.
• We identify technical risks and dependencies early and apply mitigation or escalation as needed.
• We coordinate across multiple engineering teams and time zones to deliver shared outcomes.
• We translate complex AI capabilities into clear business value and communicate progress, trade-offs, and risks to senior stakeholders.
• We lead and develop a team of engineers and senior individual contributors through coaching and technical mentorship.
• We foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• We support the growth of emerging leaders by delegating responsibility and expanding scope over time.
